DGA will host the Netherlands Pavilion during Gamescom 2024
The DGA will host the Netherlands Pavilion during gamescom 2024, where they will present a great selection of Dutch developers, publishers and game services.
The Dutch Games Association will be present at gamescom this year! More than twenty Dutch studios and companies will be present at the Netherlands Pavilion, which the Dutch Games Association organises to show off many talented members of the Dutch industry to the international audience of gamescom. Thanks to the Netherlands Pavilion, these parties can display their work and connect with people from all over the world!
The Netherlands has a lot to offer: visitors at gamescom can meet both established game developers like Gamious and Tomas Sala, but also upcoming talent (Studio Ami, Alterego Games, Linx Interactive, SpeculativeAgency) at the Netherlands Pavilion.
Offering a full representation of our game industry ecosystem, publishers like GameDistribution, Mindscape and Mystic Forge will also be present, as well as service partners such as i3D.net, Meettomatch, VicariousPR, Local Heroes, Newzoo and VaultN.
Last but not least, the Dutch Games Association is also looking forward to having a chat with anyone who’s interested in The Netherlands!

Speculative Agency
All Will Rise is a game about taking those responsible for destroying the planet to court. In a fictional version of southern India, you play Kuyili, an irreverent and razor-sharp climate lawyer. She brings a much-needed infusion of wild joy, curiosity and playfulness in a world where it can be very hard to fight the fight against climate change and ecological crisis. All Will Rise is a lively current of electric energy in a time where ecological and climate depression and anxiety are rampant.
All Will Rise is a combination of Ace Attorney’s legal battles and investigation, the deep writing of a Disco Elysium and the collectible cards of a game like Pokemon.
Core to the game are conversations in which you try to convince people, extract evidence, argue or empathize with them. We do this through more traditional game conversations and a unique conversational card battle system.
The player will find cards – evidence, friendly moves, smart arguments – by exploring the world and talking to people. Players will build decks with these cards to make arguments – and build their case.
There will be loads of strategies people can apply; play on people’s hearts, minds, gut feelings, and sense of humour. The goal is to use the cards to keep the flow of the conversation going while getting your point across, connecting with the other person, and win the case debate.
Part of the revenue of AllWill Rise will go to funding real life climate court cases.
All Will Rise is being developed by Speculative Agency, a group of freelance game developers, scientists and climate activists.
