Vacancy: Division Manager Game Business at the Dutch Games Association
Vacancy: Division Manager Game Business at the Dutch Games Association (part-time · voluntary)
February 2026
The Dutch Games Association (DGA) is looking for a Division Manager Game Business to strengthen its Supervisory Board. Are you an experienced professional from the commercial games sector who wants to give back to the Dutch games industry? Then we would love to hear from you.
About the Dutch Games Association
Founded in 2008, the DGA is the official trade association for game creators in the Netherlands. We represent the interests of the Dutch games industry and work to support its growth, visibility, and professionalisation, both nationally and internationally.
Our membership reflects the diversity of the games ecosystem and consists primarily of creators, including game studios and indie developers, serious game creators, game asset creators such as writers, audio studios, animators, and freelancers and publishers, platform owners, and other ecosystem partners.
Within the DGA, we broadly distinguish three segments:
- Indie games – creative productions by smaller, independent teams, often not primarily driven by mass-market reach or revenue optimisation
- Applied / serious games – games developed with educational, learning, or societal goals
- Commercial games – games aimed at larger audiences, focused on revenue generation and sustainable business growth, typically developed by mid-sized to larger studios
As Division Manager Game Business, you will represent this third segment: the commercial games sector. (Please note that the Business Division was previously known as the Entertainment Division. The name was changed to better reflect its role in representing all major game studios and ecosystem partners.)

- Support broader DGA activities such as the monthly DGA Network Lunch and the yearly Dutch Games Awards
- Contribute to DGA’s lobbying efforts by articulating the perspectives and interests of Dutch commercial game studios to local, national, and EU policymakers

- Has at least 8 years of hands-on experience in the commercial games industry, for example as a founder, studio leader, or business development professional
