Dutch Games Association (DGA) will be hosting the tenth Holland Pavilion at gamescom 2019, bringing Dutch companies large and small to the event. gamescom is Europe’s biggest trade fair for interactive games and entertainment, and one of the most important industry meetup worldwide for insiders, publishers and developers. This year, the Netherlands is Partner Country of gamescom, which means extra PR and extra (networking) opportunities.

Thanks to Creative Industries Fund NL we are able to invite talented developers to join the Holland Pavilion. We have subsidised spots available for talented and motivated developers that are interested in showcasing their game at the Holland Pavilion at gamescom. With this opportunity, participation at the Holland Pavilion is free (this does not include additional costs such as travel, hotel or additional showcase services).

The selected developers will get the opportunity to showcase their project at the Holland Pavilion. Dutch Games Association will provide participants with the necessary furniture and AV equipment. Furthermore, participants get a chance to take part in all the initiatives organised by Dutch Games Association, such as the networking drinks which are visited by hundreds of international professionals. Participants will also get a MeetToMatch account, due to the large reach and high effectiveness of this networking tool.

Prior to gamescom, the selected developers will be invited to partake in a preparatory afternoon where they’ll get all the ins and outs, from experts in the field on how to get the most out of gamescom.

A few weeks after gamescom, the selected developers will receive an evaluation on how they experienced the event and the achieved business objectives.

Finally, there will also be an afternoon to close activities off and help on the follow up phase. This afternoon will focus on aftercare and features speakers from the Dutch games industry with experience in closing deals.
