Yesterday we welcomed our new Treasurer Viktor Wijnen to our board during a special general assembly of members (ALV). We are saying goodbye to Rob Hulsen who was our Treasurer for more than 6 years. We would like to thank Rob for all the work and effort he put into the Dutch Games Association! Thank you, Rob!

Here’s an introduction of Viktor:

Ardent gamer for 43 years and counting. Involved in the Dutch game sector for over 17 years now in different shapes and forms. Co-instigator of many initiatives ranging from start-up support, flexible office spaces, innovation, internationalisation, festivals, trade associations, research, education and many more. Always aimed at further strengthening the Dutch game ecosystem. For the love of games. Unapologetically.

As a passionate gamer and educator in the field of Games I strongly believe that Games are the main cultural shaper of modern society. In that light I am convinced there is still plenty untapped potential within our beautiful sector to further unlock the coming years. Be it on a cultural level or on an economical level. By applying for the board of the Dutch Games Association I aspire to put my expertise to work and positively contribute to this objective.

Welcome to the DGA board, Viktor! We are looking forward to working with you!
