Hanzehogeschool recently hosted the Dutch Games Association x Hanze Pop-up Lunch, and the turnout was impressive. With over 80 attendees, the room was buzzing with conversations ranging from the latest industry trends to shared projects and career advice.
There’s something special about breaking bread and sharing a good caffeine fix that helps bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional reality. It was more than just a lunch. It created space for:
• Mentorship: Experienced developers sharing “war stories” from the field
• Networking: Students connecting with potential future colleagues
• Collaboration: New perspectives on shared technical challenges
“The mood was good, which made it a useful and fun event. We are looking forward to the next one,” says Arjan van Houwelingen, Hanze lecturer, didactics trainer, and account manager CMGT & CMD.
