The Dutch Game Industry Directory is the place where all Dutch game studios and games come together to make the game industry more transparent for newcomers and policymakers.
Adriaan de Jongh is the initiator of the Directory and entrusted its management to the Dutch Game Association in early 2026. We have embraced this opportunity with both hands and are expanding and improving the Directory, so it becomes a starting point for anyone who wants to get to know the Dutch game industry.
What has been added?
- A map showing all game studios in the Netherlands
- A quiz to test your knowledge of the game industry
- An API for those who want to access the Directory data
- A timeline of games
- A serious games landing page for clients looking for a serious game studio
- Integration with IGDB to make adding games easier
- Improvements to events and integration with Slack and Discord
- Visibility of DGA membership; members are shown first.
We already see strong traction, and in the coming period we continue to further improve the Directory. For example, we plan to add a connection with the Dutch Game Awards. Let us know if you have further suggestions for improvement!
