– Lisa Pak is a consultant at the United Nations Environment Programme where she serves as the Head of Operations at Playing for the Planet. Her mission is to accelerate the speed at which the games industry and its players take action for the environment by meeting people where they already are: at work and in games. In her session she will give an overview of the work at Playing for the Planet, talk about how you can get involved, and give concrete examples of what you can do today to get started with your own sustainability journey.
– Elena Biryukova, Internal Communications Manager at MY.GAMES. In the presentation, she will introduce the core principles of MY.GAMES, a leading European publisher and developer. With a vast community exceeding one billion registered users worldwide, the last years the company has recognized the significance of leveraging the influence to make a positive impact not only in the world of gaming but also beyond. Elena will share exciting projects for the game communities and internal teams of MY.GAMES, as well as highlight some valuable lessons the team has learned along the way about raising awareness for sustainability in game dev.
– Lindy Damen, CEO and consultant at EVRgreen Studio. Lindy describes herself as a curious creative. She started EVRgreen Studio out of her passion for nature and her interest in gaming. From her own experience and from her education, she noticed how powerful these tools can be to raise awareness. How it can bridge the gap between science and society by simplifying complex material. This is how she aims to make an impact with our games for a green future.
