Open Letter: Protect the Future of Dutch and European Games

Europe needs more digital success stories – not new obstacles. Do not let misguided regulation put the creation of Dutch games at risk.

On behalf of the Dutch games industry, the DGA expresses concern that the current interpretation of the key principles has unintended consequences for players, parents, and game developers (particularly small and medium-sized studios), while sharing the industry’s commitment to effective consumer protection and transparency. Our open letter to The European Commission, Members of the European Parliament, and National Consumer Authorities within the CPC Network calls for constructive dialogue with policymakers and authorities to explore practical and proportionate solutions.

Basically: As the industry addressed, we’d just like to be part of the discussion.
