Special Awards submissions for the Dutch Game Awards 2026 are now open!
These awards recognise individuals, studios, and organisations that have made a significant impact on the Dutch games industry.
There are four categories:
Inclusion: Given to an initiative, person, organization or company that has significant impact in improving inclusivity for the game industry.
Best Studio: This award is not about making the best games, but more about being the best place to make games. Criteria include employee health and benefits, creative environment, strong leadership, and teamwork.
Best in Business: Best worldwide business success realised in the past year by a Dutch game, project or company.
Career Achievement: Given to a person who has made a significant contribution to the Dutch game industry, either through their leadership, guidance, or their projects.
These awards highlight the breadth of talent and impact within the Dutch games ecosystem, from studio culture and business success to long-term individual contributions and industry-wide inclusion efforts.
We are now accepting submissions for all Special Award categories. Anyone in the industry can nominate candidates who they believe deserve recognition.
Ticket sales for the Dutch Game Awards 2026 are also now open.
Based on your feedback, we’ve lowered ticket prices this year and moved away from the dinner format, introducing finger food to make the event more accessible and focused on the ceremony and networking.
